Students, Staff Prepare for Severe Weather

Anna Brousard reviewed the tornado drill procedure with her kinder-garten class at Edmunds Elementary School this morning. Then at 10:15 AM, when the sirens sounded, her class moved to the school’s tornado-safe location and crouched quietly until the drill was over. As part of National Severe Weather Awareness Week Edmunds and other elemen-tary schools around the district participated in the Statewide Tornado Drill to ensure student safety.
