Hi! My name is Anna Brousard and this will be my sixth year teaching here at Edmunds. This will be my first year in 3rd grade and I am so excited! I have previously taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I went to Iowa State University and am a proud Cyclone fan. I live in Des Moines with my husband and two dogs, Tuco & Boomer. In my free time, I love to read, do yoga, travel, and enjoy the outdoors.
I am excited to begin my fourth year at Edmunds and my ninth year as a teacher. I’ve taught both first and third grades in Des Moines and Chicago. I went to school at Drake University for my undergrad and DePaul University for my graduate degree. I love learning, and my goal as a teacher is to instill a love for learning in all of my students! I enjoy being with my family, playing outside, baking (and eating), and reading. Every kid deserves access to a great education, and I am honored to be a part of that journey!
Hey Wildcats! I am excited to start my 13th year of teaching at Edmunds as an Interventionist for 4th grade. I have always loved working with kids and I love to see that light bulb moment when you understand something that was hard for you before. You should also know that I am a proud Cyclone. I went to Iowa State for undergrad and graduate school. My husband also works at Iowa State! Let’s work hard and make this the best school year yet!
Hello! I am so excited to begin my fourth year at Edmunds, and my fifth year teaching.
It is so fun to watch the learning and growing that happens at Edmunds each year. Every student brings something unique to our learning community. It’s what makes our community fun and diverse; one of my favorite parts about Edmunds!
