Hello, My name is Mrs. Cardamone. I am a 1st Grade Teacher at Edmunds. I went to college at Upper Iowa University and Graceland University. I love being a wildcat because of the inspiration I feel every time I walk through these doors. I know it’s our job to teach our students to believe in themselves, but our wildcats have taught ME to believe in myself as well.
My favorite famous quote is, “Once you’ve learned it and understand it you’ll never forget it. That’s what knowledge is.”
Hello! My name is Mrs. Tigges and I am an interventionist here at Edmunds Elementary School! I have worked at Edmunds since 2013! I went to Grand View University for my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and have endorsements in Reading and Language Arts. I also obtained my Master’s Degree at Grand Canyon University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages! I absolutely LOVE what I do and could not imagine doing anything else.
My husband and I live in Woodward, a VERY small town northwest of Des Moines. I have two children, Ava and Wesley. We also have three dogs! My family and I enjoy spending time outdoors every chance we get. We love to camp!
I look forward to working with and getting to know all my students and their families this year! Go Wildcats!
Hello! My name is Jessica Webb and I am a First Grade teacher here at Edmunds. I am so happy to be in First Grade with your children. I went to Upper Iowa University where I received a degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Endorsement. My husband and I have two beautiful children, Brystal and Bentley. My husband and I are both teachers! We have taught in Missouri, Alabama, and finally moved back home to Iowa. It is great to be in Des Moines Public Schools and awesome to be a wildcat! In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends, gardening, camping, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, and just enjoying the outdoors.
