Life Skills For 5th Graders Is Part Of The Boys2Men Mission

At their weekly meetings, the Boys2Men  club at Edmunds address issues of  responsibility,  personal  health and practical skills that they will need down the road – like learning how to tie a necktie!  The  recent “tie efficacy” project was fun and challenging for the boys, and turned into a team building exercise as some boys helped others, once they achieved tying their own perfect kot! The next day some of the boys even wore their tie to school, proud to show off their new found talent!

The “Boys2Men” leadership group at Edmunds is led by mentors John Hawkins and Edmunds’ teacher’s Andrew Kurimski and David Borzo, takes many paths to reach out to 5th grade boys, is funded by donors from friends of Edmunds.
