Boys 2 Men Club at Edmunds Receives Holiday Donations!

The “Boys2Men” leadership group at Edmunds,  led by mentors John Hawkins and Edmunds’ teacher’s Andrew Kurimski and David Borzo, takes many paths to reach out to 5th grade boys.  Meeting weekly, they address issues of community, personal responsibility and personal  health.  But it’s not all work and challenging drills. The last meeting of the year the boys had a holiday surprise:  along with a planned pizza party, the students received several gifts, donated to Boys2Men. The donors, who elected to stay anonymous, provided students with three presents each, as well as gift cards to Walmart. The boys planned to use the gift cards for getting presents and food for their families. The 5th graders also enjoyed games afterwards,  getting a break from their normal vigorous physical  and stamina routines! Thanks to our donors who helped make a difference this year for the leadership group!
