Des Moines’ Finest Visit Edmunds With Reading Mission

Recently Edmunds had a visit from the Des Moines Police Department, who came to visit students as part of the Badges With Books program!  It was great to have Chief Wingert and Officer Swartz here to read I Want to be a Police Officer to 1st grade students!  The Edmunds students enjoyed learning about being a police officer, too, and getting to meet officers who support our community.  Thank you DMPD for spending time with us!
