Boys2Men Club at Edmunds Tie One On

Edmunds 5th grade boys have been learning about leadership and community in the “Boys 2 Men” club. The boys learn about leadership, personal responsibility and community engagement with their mentors, including Boys 2 Men club founder John Hawkins, and Edmunds teachers Andrew Kurimski and David Borzo.

The team interacts with the boys and discuss issues important for young men, promoting positive direction, personal responsibility and promoting teamwork. Activities include field trips, community service, chess, memorizing the Boys2Men leadership alphabet, meeting police officers and even learning how to tie a tie. On day in November the boys tried to master that important skill, learning to tie on a tie as a prelude to important times to come!
