Edmunds Third Graders Learn About the Cycle of Life!

In third grade,  Edmunds students have been exploring life cycles of different animals and identifying similarities and differences between them.  As part of that, students got to experience a real-life life cycle happen in their classroom with the uses of an incubator to hatch out chicks! Students were able to label the different steps of the cycle as the process progressed,  while also researching interesting facts.

Likewise, students grew bean plants to see the germination of a seed take place before growing into a plant of their own. They were then able to take home a sample to replant. Students throughout this unit learned many new things and loved being able to actively explore nature through these fun, hand’s-on activities!
