Edmunds 4th Graders Soak in the Art in Des Moines

On April 13th, fourth graders at Edmunds Elementary took part in the annual fourth grade Art Center Tour. The students and chaperones toured the three buildings that comprise the Art Center on Grand Ave., and also got to explore the Pappajohn Sculpture Park on the second leg of the field trip.  The students were on their best behavior as they looked at the amazing art, much of which they were familiar with as they had studied the collection in art classes at school. The students were quite engaged in the tours, shared many interesting reflections on the art, and asked many questions.
