Dinosaur Studies Roaming in 2nd Grade!
Edmunds 2nd graders have recently been focusing on learning about paleontologists. That’s a big word for such young minds! The students are studying the work that paleontologists do, and how they excavate and study fossils. For their dino-sized final assessment the 2nd graders dug in, used their imaginations to create stories in which they are a paleontologist on a big digging project. They got to choose their location and goals, then describe their work, including their big archeological find. The students are doing an awesome job of using their new knowledge and writing compelling their personal narratives!
