Edmunds Student’s Star On The Field Of Play!

The 2019 Football season is in the books for Edmunds students,  and our gridiron stars ruled the field again this season. Students from 2nd through 5th grades participated in  a couple different YMCA  Flag Football  programs, as well as the Riders Club Football  team and North High feeder team. Games were played on Saturdays and Sundays across the city.  Oakridge teams made up the lion’s share of the Edmunds players, playing at the Grubb YMCA from September to early November. Edmunds player’s enthusiasm  was outstanding, with many boys and girls learning the fundamentals of the game, the value of teamwork and the importance  of personal effort.
