Edmunds’ Second Graders Learn About Extreme Iowa Weather!

Second graders at Edmunds spent the some time in March  learning about all kinds of weather that we see in Iowa and across the country. They learned about blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes, and more! They ended the weather unit by hosting a visit from KCCI meteorologist Jason Sydejko. He talked about the role of a meteorologist,  and showed some cool pictures and videos of extreme weather which made a great impression in the students.  Then, that evening the 2nd grade classes were thrilled to be featured on the KCCI 6 o’clock news!
