Edmunds 5th Graders bowl for glory!

On May 2nd fifth grade students from Edmunds competed in the annual Des Moines Public School Elementary Bowling Tournament, earning their spots with practice and skill. The students had a great time while learning how challenging it can be to bowl on the “big lanes.” They were also treated with a “behind the scenes” tour tin back of the lanes, seeing how a bowling alley operates and how the automated pinsetters do their magic. Great Escape and Merle Hay Lanes hosted many schools for the annual event, one that the students look forward to every year!
