Edmunds students who are English Language Learners focus on phonics instruction as well as building fluency. Teacher Mr. K uses direct, systematic and sequential instruction to teach the foundations of the English language.  Students are presented material using a multi-sensory approach that incorporates the three learning pathways:  auditory, kinesthetic, and visual.  Using a variety of materials and learning strategies helps keep students  engaged as they learn, and helps them retain information!
