Different Grade Levels Team Up for Learning at Edmunds

At Edmunds Elementary, Mrs. Webb’s 1st grade class and Mrs. Keyser’s 4th grade class have had an amazing start to the year! The two classes teamed up to work on their team building skills; the students’ were given the challenge to create the longest chain possible using only 1 piece of paper, scissors and a glue stick!

Before the two classes spent this time together, the 4th grade students worked on teaming up for the group work. They discussed what makes a great team by thinking about what it looks like, sounds like, and feels like to work together successfully. The students were then able to bring their expertise to the 1st graders. There were smiles, giggles and learning from all students!
