Edmunds 5th Graders participate in “Readers Theater” to share what they’ve learned
Fifth graders at Edmunds have been studying the history of Westward Expansion and the impact that it had on Native Americans. Students learned about multiple points of view and how the speaker’s perspective influences how events are portrayed in a text book. One activity that students thoroughly enjoyed was presenting a historical “Reader’s Theater” to their fellow classmates, depicting important events that happened in the early 1800’s.
