“Friday Fun Celebrations” Promote Positive Behavior!
Every Friday, students at Edmunds who have displayed positive behavior over the week get to participate in a Friday Fun Celebration in their classrooms. Students that participate in the celebrations consistently demonstrate Edmunds expectations of being Respectful, Responsible, and Caring. Together students and their teacher decide what the celebration is going to be (extra recess time, a board game, etc.) and on Friday afternoon for the last 15 minutes of the school day, they celebrate positive behavior together as a class. Students really enjoy this time and students work hard to achieve it. Friday Fun Day was implemented this school year and is another way Edmunds can recognize those students who work hard and display the Wildcat Way!
