Edmunds 4th Graders at the Theater!
On Tuesday, March 28, Edmunds 4th grade students attended a play at Des Moines’ Temple Theater for the Performing Arts, “The Man Who Planted Trees,” based on a book by Jean Giono. The fable takes place in the early 1900s and shares the story of one shepherd’s pursuit to plant thousands of trees to improve the environment. Students were able to smell the lavender, hear the wind, see fascinating puppetry, and laugh along with “Dog,” one of the main characters. Edmunds students truly enjoyed this humorous performance!
