Donation of 200 Sketchbooks for Edmunds Art Students!

Edmunds art students received a generous contribution from the community, a contribution that will be used in art classes throughout the school year. 200 sketchbooks were were purchased for Edmunds students in grades 3 through 5, from friends and family of Edmunds Art, who made donations through a campaign with DonorsChoose.org. The project was set up by Edmunds art teacher David Borzo because the sketchbooks add an important element to the students efforts in class. Among other things they promote ownership of their work and providing some continuity throughout the year. When school year is over in May 2017 the students get to take their sketchbooks home as a permanent record of their work all year. Many students have already put the donation to good use, and they are very thankful for the generous contributions!
