A group of teachers and friends from Edmunds Elementary got together in an effort to raise funds for the school on September 23rd, volunteering at Oktoberfest Des Moines. The teachers, along with some spouses and friends, took tickets and served at the event held in downtown Des Moines, raising well over $500 for the school. The hard working Edmunds volunteers worked added up to over 100 hours at the event, and they also had some fun, as they worked for their students.
