“OWNING” possessive Nouns!

​Edmunds’ first grade English Language Learners (ELL) have been working on possessive pronouns, sorting through pictures to decide what possessive pronoun to use depending on who was speaking. Ms. Brighi’s ELL classes then took pictures and wrote about them, using a possessive pronoun in one of their sentences. This class “OWNED” possessive pronouns!

Ms. Brighi’s Kindergarten ELL groups have been working on discussing different animals and learning interesting facts about them. They learned that chameleons change colors to reflect their mood; a perfect opportunity to integrate into the lesson how they are feeling, as if they were the chameleons. Students had a blast coloring their feelings!
