Writing is in Full Bloom

Mrs. Tigges’s Kindergarten class has been busy developing writing skills this Spring. The have come a long way in their writing! Currently the kindergarteners are working hard to understand the difference between asking a question and answering a question. They are enjoying the process of interviewing classmates, and they get new partners and new questions to ask every day. Interviewing classmates is a fun and engaging way to developing writing skills, while learning the difference between asking and answering questions. As they go through the process they are learning to focus on listening to their partner’s answers, not just the task of asking question or giving their own answers. Watch out for these students! They are packed full of questions and interest in learning!
