Ms. Fort’s Second Grade Classroom
This is an exciting time in Miss Fort’s second grade classroom. It’s a great time to see the students so motivated and enthusiastic about the progress that they have made. In the Spring, the class continued to work on and review all their reading comprehension skills, and the class made tremendous growth in other disciplines too, as they also just finished their insect unit in science and were able to watch the life cycle of the butterfly.
The class also welcomed a special visitor this spring who plays college basketball at Emporia State in Kansas, Rhianna Egliand. She visited with the class and talked to the students about how important it is to be a good student first and foremost in order to succeed in college. She provided a great role model for the students and they continue to grow and get ready for the third grade!
