Edmunds’ first day is a winner!

Edmunds students and teachers kicked off the new school year with a fantastic first day of school! Friday was full of hugs and high -fives as students and teachers alike were excited to be back at school and alongside their friends. The first days of school always include practicing procedures and priorities, so for part of Friday the students took part in “rotations.” Rotations, which extends into next week as well, has students traveling around the school to take part in presentations designed to keep the day orderly and everyone safe. At the end of the day the whole Edmunds community gathered into the gym for a First Day assembly, where the students met all the teachers and support staff, Eddie the School mascot, and did a little dancing. If the first day is an indication, Edmunds is on the way to a fantastic 2019-2020 school year, filled with growth, teamwork, and learning together!
