Edmunds Kids Donate Their Change To Fight Leukemia & Lymphoma!

Over the last two weeks Edmunds, students teamed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to join the fight against blood cancers. Edmunds students joined other Des Moines schools to participate in a program called Pennies for Patients – asking for loose change to help fight the deadly disease. Members of the Edmunds’ Wildcat Pack created posters and organized the collection of money, creating a competition across grade levels, to see which grade could donate the most money. Edmunds third graders took the top honors with a total donation of $141.51! The grand total raised from the whole school was $375.71! Congratulations and thanks to all who helped in this important cause
