Edmunds DMPS Art Show

Seven Edmunds art students were excited to participate in the All Des Moines Public School Art Exhibition last month. The annual exhibit was held at Capital Square in Downtown Des Moines, with all elementary, middle schools and high schools from Des Moines participating. With hundreds of student works at Edmunds to choose from, Art Teacher David Borzo had a difficult task in selecting just a handful of pieces to represent the school. The work shown by the students included work portraiture, architecture and abstract themes, represented in pastels, colored pencil and clay. Many of the students with work in the show were on hand for the opening reception, proudly posing with their art for parents and families. Congratulations to the following students!
