Edmunds 3rd Grade Students Explore Possible Careers

Students spent time exploring the world of careers and dreaming of their future during counseling with Ms. Bryant. After learning about many different career options available to them, students were asked to choose a career they may want to pursue. Students created puppets reflecting the clothes and tools needed for their job. Then students used their puppets to interview one another about the school subjects and skills they will need in order to pursue their career.

Students were able to connect the work they are doing as elementary students to their futures. It was amazing to see the variety of occupations that students chose, such as FBI detective, horse trainer, businessman, and archaeologist. Edmunds students have bright futures!
