Special Kindergarten lunch with the teacher!

Good Behavior Pays Off in the Classroom!

Like all Edmunds classes, teacher Anna Brousard’s kindergarten class uses the behavioral chart and clip system to encourage positive behavior.  Students work their way up the chart with excellent behavior, clipping to the highest category,  “Superstar!” In September Miss. Brousard’s class saw four students that ended their school day on “Superstar!” five different times in less than two weeks.  Their reward was getting to eat lunch in the classroom with their teacher. These four students are setting a great example for the other members of the class and their classmates are working towards ending their days on “Superstar!” five different times as well. If they do so, they will also be able to eat lunch in the classroom. It is a great chance to build relationships and allows the students to realize that hard work pays off. Go Wildcats!
